TECNO Spark 40 Series Redefines Midrange with Flagship Specs

LAHORE: TECNO has launched its new Spark 40 Series in Pakistan, unveiling the Spark 40 Pro+ and Spark 40 Pro. Both models target a younger, style-conscious audience looking for sleek design, strong performance, and features typically reserved for higher-end smartphones.

At first glance, the two share much in common: a slim, lightweight build; a bright 1.5K AMOLED display with a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate; and an eye-watering peak brightness of 4,500 nits — enough to remain legible even under harsh sunlight.

Under the hood, both pack a 5,200 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, dual Dolby Atmos speakers, and IP64 dust- and water-resistance. Where the Spark 40 Pro+ stands apart is in the details. At just 6.49mm thick, it’s one of the slimmest smartphones in its class, powered by the world’s first MediaTek Helio G200 processor — designed for gamers and heavy multitaskers. It also offers 30W magnetic wireless charging, 5W reverse wireless charging, and a curved-edge display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, with drop resistance of up to two metres.

The Spark 40 Pro, slightly thicker at 6.69mm, features a flat display and the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, prioritising smooth day-to-day performance at a more accessible price point.

The Spark 40 Pro+ lands in Pakistan at PKR 59,999, with a choice of four finishes — Tundra Green, Nebula Black, Aurora White, and Moon Titanium — each giving the slim flagship its own personality. The Spark 40 Pro comes in at PKR 48,999, also with four colours to pick from: Bamboo Green, Ink Black, Lake Blue, and Moon Titanium.
