Pakistan-India Tensions Rise as Forces Kill 14 Terrorists in Zhob.
The military’s media wing reported on Saturday that security forces had killed 14 additional terrorists who were trying to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Zhob district of Balochistan.
This comes after 33 terrorists who were members of the “Indian proxy Fitna al Khwaraj” were killed on the evenings of August 7 and 8.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release that “a deliberate sanitization operation was conducted in surrounding areas of Sambaza along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border on [the] night of August 8/9, 2025.”
In the course of the operation, 14 additional Indian-sponsored Khwarij were located and eliminated. The ISPR reported that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also found on the deceased Khwarij.
This came after the “successful engagements by the security forces in the general area of Sambaza, Zhob District, on 7-8 August 2025, during which 33 khwarij were sent to hell.”
Post-Sindoor terrorist
The military emphasized that 47 Khwarij had been killed in the two-day anti-infiltration operation.
The state refers to terrorists who are members of the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as “fitna al Khawarij.”
The statement declared, “The security forces are still dedicated to protecting the country’s borders and stopping efforts to undermine Pakistan’s peace, stability, and development.”
Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, also commended the professionalism of the security forces.
The accomplishments of the security forces against the terrorists involved in the Indian conspiracy are viewed with admiration by the country. In a post on X, he claimed that the security forces had “put an exemplary end to the Indian-sponsored terrorists involved in spreading chaos in Balochistan.”
“With prompt operations, security forces sent 47 Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists to hell in two days,” he continued. They stopped a nefarious plot to undermine peace in Balochistan by acting quickly.
In an attempt to portray India’s alleged involvement in terrorism as a purposeful destabilization tactic and possibly rally support at home, the government designated all terrorist organizations in Balochistan as Fitna al-Hindustan in May.
Following the TTP’s termination of its ceasefire with the government in November 2022, terror activity has increased in Pakistan, particularly in KP and Balochistan.
According to the Global Terrorism Index 2025, the nation came in second place, with 1,081 terrorist attacks killing people, a 45 percent increase from the previous year.
During an intelligence-based military operation in Mastung district last month, two security personnel, including an army major, accepted martyrdom, and security forces killed three terrorists.
Eight terrorists from Fitna al-Hindustan, the Indian proxy, were killed in two different military operations in the Kalat district.
