Pakistan Armed Forces to Display Defence Equipment in Islamabad Today
Preparations for Independence Day and Marka-e-Haq celebrations are in full swing across Pakistan, with patriotic spirit running high. As part of the festivities, a grand public event will take place at Shakarparian Parade Ground on August 14, opening to visitors from 10 a.m. onwards.
The Pakistan Armed Forces will showcase an impressive range of defence equipment used in Marka-e-Haq, including weapons, tanks, aircraft, and advanced military gear. The exhibition will also feature cannons, rocket launcher vehicles, combat transport vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and radar systems that played a key role during the battle.
Adding to the excitement, the Pakistan Air Force will perform a flypast and a para-jumping demonstration, offering a thrilling experience for the crowd. Visitors can also enjoy various stalls, cultural programs, and live performances by military bands, which will play national songs to inspire patriotism.
The event aims to give citizens a chance to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day in a grand and memorable way, while learning about the country’s military strength and rich history. With colourful displays, aerial performances, and interactive exhibits, the day promises to be a perfect blend of pride, heritage, and celebration.
