Mahnoor Cheema Breaks Four World Records, Secures Oxford University Seat
LONDON / LAHORE – Pakistani academic prodigy Mahnoor Cheema has once again made history, this time by breaking four world records in a single streak — a feat no other secondary school student has achieved.
At just 18, Mahnoor earned top distinction marks in 24 different A-Level subjects, adding to her earlier triumph of excelling in 34 GCSE subjects. With these new achievements, her total world record tally has risen to six, the highest ever for a student at this level.
Among her recent records are:
- Passing the most individual A-Level subjects
- Securing the highest combined number of A* and A grades
- Earning the most distinctions overall
- Achieving unmatched subject diversity in her academic portfolio
Following this monumental success, Mahnoor has secured admission to the University of Oxford, where she will study medicine — fulfilling a dream she has nurtured since childhood.
“This is a moment of pure joy. My parents’ sacrifices and constant support made this possible,” Mahnoor said while speaking about her achievement.
Beyond academics, Mahnoor’s talents span music, acting, and public speaking. She holds a diploma in music, has won gold medals in performing arts, and is also a member of Mensa — the high IQ society.
Her accomplishments are being celebrated in both Pakistan and the UK, with educationists calling her a “once-in-a-generation talent” and an inspiration for students worldwide.
